Scratch

Film is traditionally seen as the carrier of the image. Yet film is an object with unique physical qualities and, by implication, intriguing visual propensities.

A dialogue is initiated when the film is materially altered.

It’s a dialogue between the image and the object holding the image, one that references dimensions of time as both a moment recorded (image) and as an act augmenting that moment (object).
